Environmental sensitivity is paramount. All plans for Glenconner Beach have been created with utmost concern for the local ecosystem, respecting the properties designation as one of the most exquisite, protected environments on earth.

The Glenconner Beach Villas will have the following sustainable features:

  • St Lucian stone flooring for bathrooms and poolside area is sourced from the villa site itself and hand cut onsite.
  • Concealed sun-powered photovoltaic panels to heat domestic and swimming pool water.
  • Villas will have 100% grey water recycling.
  • Each room's air conditioning installation can reuse waste heat to power domestic hot water through a super D heater. The design of the villas is such that rooms will be cooled naturally through cross ventilation, if the owners choose not to use the air conditioning.
  • Each home will have a Luton energy management control system.
  • Flooring will be of South American hardwood, bamboo and green heart wood.
  • Cabinets will be sustainable bamboo.
  • Fixture and fittings will all be handmade in the Caribbean.

"The villas have been designed to make maximum use of natural resources found in the Caribbean and to be as ecologically friendly as possible."
